We went to "park" if you can call it that for a bit (read Where are the Dog Parks in Clovis?) and then went to get me some new food!! Yum!! Yum!! I love my Nutro Lamb and Rice !!!
Then my day brightened up!!! I met Gracie, a 3 year old black lab. Our relationship got of on the wrong paw, I was a little aggressive for her taste. I didn't actually hurt her, I was just a little vocal in telling her that I wanted to play!! Once she realized that I had a big bark, and no bite, it was GAME ON!!!
FauxMama, Macy, and Elizabeth Swann (Gracie's Mama) all cheered us on from the sidelines while watching the World Cup! I must say I have found myself a worthy adversary. That girl is quick on her feet, and does this "spider monkey" move where she runs through the house and then uses a sofa as a back stop to stop her momentum. I'm not really comfortable with her doing that, as I'm not allow on the furniture at my house. But I do like that she bounces back into action!!! It was a fun afternoon!!
When we got home FauxMama had some chores to do, apparently in Clovis you have mow the lawn. I don't really get it, I thought the parks department took care of that....Anyway I decided to help her. And by help I mean claiming the bushes in her yard and her neighbor's yard, mine! Then I found one of my favorite new games in the bushes!! RUN KITTY RUN!!! I chased that cat ALL the way home!! Boof!
(Note from FauxMama: Although this seems unsafe, for both Mosley and for the Kitty, I promise you it was safe!!! And I have to admit that I ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE of the chase. That cat uses MY house for his litter box all the time!! Kitty there's a new Sheriff in town! MOSLEY!)
After the game of RUN KITTY RUN, we went to the "park" in FauxMama's neighborhood for a little game of Frisbee. Again Clovis' definition of a park is weak! It was itty bitty! But I still got in a several great Frisbee catches!! It was again SILLY hot in Clovis today, so I am now chilling in the air conditioned house, resting after another big day in the sticks!
I wonder what tomorrow will bring? I think we are going to Hanford again!!!
AM: I ate all kibble but not my Dasuquin.
PM: I ate all my kibble and my Dasuquin.
Stool: Still LOOSE.
Sore: Appears to be smaller. The two little ones still appear to be almost gone. And the scab on the larger one is much smaller, although there is still a bit of inflammation.
