Avila BOOF!

Saturday morning, we woke up to nothing to do in Clovis, so we decided to pack things up and head to Avila Beach with FauxGpa.  (I mean FauxMama had several options, but I wasn't invited to any of the options, and she really wanted to spend the holiday with me!) It was a very spontaneous decision, and we (and by we I mean FauxMama) may have left several things at FauxMama's house...My Blueblood collar (which by the way, I am the model on their home page right now!!), my prong collar, my Nutro Lamb and Rice, and Frisbee!! Luckily FauxGma had an extra Blueblood collar, Farm Supply in San Luis Obispo had my Nutro Lamb and Rice, I found a new toy on the beach, and I was pretty well behaved!!

It was kinda a long drive to Avila Beach, okay not that long, but I was eager to get there!! I was a little worried there wasn't going to be a lot for me to do in Avila, but boy was I wrong!! The minute I got out of the car, I saw a worthy opponent for good game of RUN KITTY RUN!! GAME ON! Once again, I LET the Kitty win!! Yay Right! Why are they so quick!!! FauxMama was bit surprised that I was so quick to play RUN KITTY RUN, after an incident earlier in the day in Hanford...I found a Kitty that was NOT interested in RUN KITTY RUN, so I cornered her, hoping that getting her in an arena would convince her to play, yeah she didn't really like that either...we had a bit spat, I yelled, she growled, I yelled some more, and then she told me with the swat of her paw, "You shut your mouth when you are talking to me!!"  (A classic quote from the movie Wedding Crashers). Despite some stinging and discomfort, I was not going to let a little scratch hold me back! Apparently there are KITTIES EVERYWHERE to play RUN KITTY RUN with!!!

While checking the house out, I noticed this really bizarre thing. I tried to check it out, but it was SUPER scary.  I mean is it a woman? Nope, no breasts, and its pretty ugly.  Is it a fish? It has a tail, but I've never seen a fish with arms, and a ponytail! FauxMama tried to explain that it is a chachkie.  And although incredibly strange, absolutely harmless!! I didn't really believe her, so FauxMama offered this chachkie fellow a relocation package and it split town! Thank goodness because it was NOT welcome and I let it know!!

After not settling into the Avila house, we went down to this park to play a little Frisbee!! Clovis needs to take some notes. First, this park in their backyard! I can't go there by myself, but we just walked under the house and there we were...beautiful grass, lots trees, tons of bushes...ALL green!! It was heaven!! Clovis are you taking notes?? Actually SF Park and Rec are YOU taking notes?? Portland you may as well get in on this schooling as well!!

After a long day of travel, chachkies, and frisbee, we finally hit the hay...

Macy and I weren't really sure where FauxMama was going to sleep, there wasn't really room for all three of us.  And the bed was so comfy, Macy and I we were NOT moving!

There was talk of Beach time the next day, we needed to rest up! I LOVE beach time!!!

AM: I ate all kibble AND my Dasuquin.
PM: I ate all my kibble. Macy is still on a restricted diet! This girl has to learn!!
Sore: I don't know!

Constant Earthquakes and Doghouse!!

Friday we were back in Hanford!

We cruised down Mosley style as always!! We had to be there super early, because FauxMama was meeting Jon Casey Construction at the house at 8am! They were going to rip out this tile in FauxGma and FauxGpa's entry way. About the time that they started them demo, an earthquake started!! It was super mild, but it was really loud.  Louder than any earthquake I remember...and I live in San Francisco, so I have lived through a few!  I suggested to FauxMama that we get in a safe spot...but she didn't really seemed that concerned. Maybe it wasn't an earthquake. Maybe it was Jon Casey Construction jack hammering out the tile! Woof, I will protect her!

She is really growing on me! But don't tell her!

Anyways, FauxMama was trying to get schooled in Photoshop, so that she could help me make my blog better! She was finding it difficult to listen to her instructor Mr. B.G. Bottles and focus on the class with the rattling floor and the intense noise, so we moved to the safest, quietest space in the house! FauxGma's closet!! And it has brand new hardwood floors! I actually think that I am the first dog to lay on them! They are really nice.  I protected FauxMama while she continued her lessons.

After several hours of earthquakes in Hanford, we headed back to Clovis. FauxMama had some friends coming into town for the 4th of July weekend and she was meeting up with them at some joint called Dog House Grill. This sounds like a place that I should be going to!! And like a place I would love!!! Apparently they have great Tri-Tip sandwiches and Fries...Wait, so why was I not invited???  Oh well, I was pretty beat from a big week in a new town so I laid low! Next trip to Dog House Grill, and I am THERE! Yummy Tri-Tip!
AM: I ate all kibble AND my Dasuquin.
PM: I ate all my kibble. Macy is on restricted diet!
Sore: It looks the same!

2010 World Pup MOS vs GRC

I had a bit of a rough night last night. I got a little sick on FauxMama's carpet.  I felt so bad, I tried to clean it up, but I didn't know where the Resolve was so I didn't so a very good job.  FauxMama helped me out with the Resolve. Its all clean now.

We went to "park" if you can call it that for a bit (read Where are the Dog Parks in Clovis?) and then went to get me some new food!! Yum!! Yum!! I love my Nutro Lamb and Rice !!!

Then my day brightened up!!! I met Gracie, a 3 year old black lab.  Our relationship got of on the wrong paw, I was a little aggressive for her taste. I didn't actually hurt her, I was just a little vocal in telling her that I wanted to play!! Once she realized that I had a big bark, and no bite, it was GAME ON!!!

FauxMama, Macy, and Elizabeth Swann (Gracie's Mama) all cheered us on from the sidelines while watching the World Cup! I must say I have found myself a worthy adversary. That girl is quick on her feet, and does this "spider monkey" move where she runs through the house and then uses a sofa as a back stop to stop her momentum.  I'm not really comfortable with her doing that, as I'm not allow on the furniture at my house.  But I do like that she bounces back into action!!! It was a fun afternoon!!

When we got home FauxMama had some chores to do, apparently in Clovis you have mow the lawn. I don't really get it, I thought the parks department took care of that....Anyway I decided to help her. And by help I mean claiming the bushes in her yard and her neighbor's yard, mine!  Then I found one of my favorite new games in the bushes!! RUN KITTY RUN!!! I chased that cat ALL the way home!! Boof!

(Note from FauxMama: Although this seems unsafe, for both Mosley and for the Kitty, I promise you it was safe!!! And I have to admit that I ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE of the chase. That cat uses MY house for his litter box all the time!! Kitty there's a new Sheriff in town! MOSLEY!)

After the game of RUN KITTY RUN, we went to the "park" in FauxMama's neighborhood for a little game of Frisbee.  Again Clovis' definition of a park is weak! It was itty bitty! But I still got in a several great Frisbee catches!! It was again SILLY hot in Clovis today, so I am now chilling in the air conditioned house, resting after another big day in the sticks!

I wonder what tomorrow will bring? I think we are going to Hanford again!!!

AM: I ate all kibble but not my Dasuquin.
PM: I ate all my kibble and my Dasuquin.
Stool: Still LOOSE.
Sore: Appears to be smaller. The two little ones still appear to be almost gone. And the scab on the larger one is much smaller, although there is still a bit of inflammation.

I own Hanford, CA!

Today we went to Hanford, CA...Have you ever been there? Not such a bad place!!

FauxMama's parents are remodeling their house, and FauxMama is helping out. So we will be going down there quite a bit in the next few weeks.  Its about a 55 minute commute to the Hanford house, with the sunroof open, and windows down!! This is traveling Mosley Style! Once we arrived it was a bit chaotic. FauxGma and FauxGpa have two dogs, one that is a Westie, Maddie, and one that appears to be a stickless mop, Twinkie.  Clearly the name says it all!! Twinkie isn't a huge fan of me! I'm a bit big for her liking! That's okay, I think she is a bit small, and I don't really care about her!  Actually later in the day I thought for a brief moment she was a cat, until she let out her high squawk of a bark!! When we arrived I was so torn whether to follow FauxMama or explore.  It was really overwhelming!! FauxMama had a quick meeting before being able to give me a tour of the grounds, I had to wait outside. I have decided I don't really like to wait outside.  I let FauxMama know by barking at the back door!!

For years I have thought I was a big toughie!! It turns out that just like every other 21 year old guy, I am insecure!! Who knew?? I mean I have never really been left alone outside. I am always accompanied by my posse, my Mama or my Papa!! And being outside alone is kinda unnerving!

During the tour of the property I realized, I could really like this place.  There were LOTS of trees for me to claim, a pool that I will dive into another day, and a fun new game "Run Kitty Run!" Turns out I'm good at this game, but the Kitties are better at this game!! Both Kitties I played scored by running up a tree! Ugh! I haven't really figured out how I score, but I am REALLY sure that Kitties have home court advantage!!

We took several car rides today apparently FauxMama's air conditioner went out in her car. Seriously it was the WORST day for that to happen, its 108 degrees in the Valley today!!! REALLY!!! So we had to have it fixed, then take FauxGma to Physical Therapy Unlimited, Starbucks, and Union Bank. Physical Therapy Unlimited even let me wait inside for FauxGma to be done!!  Did you know that there is drive through banking in Hanford. It's brilliant!!! Bank from your air conditioned car, yes please!! I enjoyed our errands, I got a ton of attention. I am not sure that Hanford-ites are used to seeing 80lb dogs in public places. But I was the perfect ambassador!!

Oh and I saw two 1,200lb dogs today!! I barked at them to let them know, I WAS BOSS!! I even tried to smell one of their back ends while FauxMama fed them.  But FauxMama was very adamant about me staying out of their kennel! So I did.  She tried to explain that they were horses, I was like yeah a horse of dog!!

AM: I ate all kibble but 5 and my Dasuquin.
PM: Left about 20 kibble. And still didn't eat my Dasuquin.
Stool: LOOSE
Sore: Appears to be smaller. The two little ones are almost gone. And the scab on the larger one is much smaller, although there is still a bit of inflammation.
